Elemental Herbology

I've used and reviewed Elemental Herbology in the past on my old blog, I loved it then and I still love it now, the scent of the product is amazing. If you've never heard of them (where have you been lol) here's a little background;

"Elemental Herbology was founded in 2008, with the purpose to help your skin achieve a state of optimum health and vitality. Using therapeutic levels of plant compounds, herbal extracts, essential fatty acids, botanical oils, vitamins, minerals, pure essential oils and anti-oxidants, we are proud to create natural skincare and body care that brings advanced nutrition to your skin.
We base everything we do around the Five Element Theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine; everything in life needs to work in harmony in order to achieve perfect equilibrium. Our products relate to each element, wood, fire, earth, metal and water and we believe that a balance of all the elements is needed depending on your skin type, environmental factors, lifestyle and the seasons."

The product I have at the moment is the Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator which I got with my Build a Box from Latest in Beauty.

"Helps to plump, moisturise and nourish dry skin. Combining Aquarich®, a 24-hour moisturising complex fortified with anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals and ultra hydrating botanicals. Ideal for dry or mature skin or for use in a cold or dry environment."

With Liftonin, to help firm the skin and improve tone, Aquarich, to deliver a 24-hour moisturising complex to intensively hydrate, pearl extract and royal jelly to help improve skin hydration and Co-Enzyme Q10 to help to protect against oxidative damage.

Along with Rosa Mosqueta, Argan, Sacha Inchi and Evening Primrose Oils which deliver a complex of Essential Fatty Acids rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 to help repair and hydrate the skin this cream is packed with ingredients that deliver lashings of moisture to help repair and protect the skin. It also has a gorgeous rose scent which I personally adore.

It's a semi thick white cream which when applies sinks in really quickly, it's not heavy on my already oily skin even though it is designed more for dry, dehydrated skin types but it really does leave my skin feeling silky soft, and, I'm going to say it again, I love the smell, it smells of roses, I find it really comforting, however if you don't like strong scented creams you might not like this one.

The 50ml jar is £44.00 however, Elemental Herbology sells sample sizes so you can try them out before committing to paying that much. You can find the trial sizes here.
